Actuary Staff

Maskapai ReInsurance Indonesia is seeking a skilled Actuary Staff to join our team in Jakarta Selatan. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the implementation of IFRS 17, the new international accounting standard for insurance contracts, and to shape the future of actuarial excellence in the insurance industry. As an Actuary Staff, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing actuarial solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients and the market.

In this role, you will work closely with our team of actuaries, underwriters, and risk managers to analyze and model complex insurance risks, develop pricing strategies, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. You will use industry-standard tools such as SAS Actuarial Lifecycle Manager, Microsoft Excel, and SQL to perform your duties. This position is ideal for professionals with a strong background in actuarial science and a passion for innovation and continuous learning.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Develop and implement actuarial solutions in line with IFRS 17 and other regulatory requirements.
• Analyze and model complex insurance risks using advanced statistical and mathematical techniques.
• Collaborate with underwriters and risk managers to develop pricing strategies and risk management frameworks.
• Conduct actuarial reviews and audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and present actuarial reports and analyses to stakeholders, including management, clients, and regulatory bodies.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in actuarial science.
• Provide actuarial support to the sales and marketing teams in the development and presentation of insurance products.
• Participate in actuarial projects and initiatives to drive innovation and improve actuarial processes.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Professional actuarial certification (e.g., Fellow of the Actuarial Society of Indonesia (FASI), Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA), or Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (FFA)) is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in actuarial work, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Strong knowledge of actuarial principles, risk management, and insurance mathematics.
• Proficiency in using actuarial software and tools, such as SAS Actuarial Lifecycle Manager, Microsoft Excel, and SQL.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance.
